When his son Mr. SPB Charan requested the Tamilnadu State Government to rename the Street where the Legend lived his life as SPB Street. This was immediately accepted by the TN State Government on his 4th death anniversary on 24 Sep 2024 to rename the Kamdar Nagar in Chennai after the Singer.

Long back, in Andhra Pradesh, TTD honoured the Legendary Musician, Bharat Ratna Late. Ms. MS Subba Lakshmi by erecting a Statue in her honour at the Tirupati City.


Now for Mr. SPB, Union Government of India , through National Highways Authority of India shall rename the Highway connecting Chennai with Nellore ( Native place of the Singer) named after the Legendary Singer Shri SPB
as
SPB- National Integration Highway

This will be not just a tribute but an effort for unity in the Long run in the Best interest of the Nation.

Request from all Music Lovers. 

PS : Many vehicle drivers avert accidents while hearing music during driving & SPB through his voice has averted maximum no of accidents. One more reason for NH to name a Highway after Him.
