இன்றைய பொங்கலுக்கு விஜய் டிவியில் "அமரன்" படம் பார்த்து " மேஜர் முகுந்த் வரதராஜன் " அவர்களின் வீர தீர சாகசங்களையும் அவரின் தியாகத்தையும் பார்த்து மெய் சிலிர்க்க வைத்தது.  எத்தனை இலட்சம் ராணுவ வீரர்களின் தியாகத்தால் நாம் இங்கே வீட்டில் மிக சொகுசாக உடகார்ந்து கொண்டு டிவி பார்க்க முடிகிறது என்பது நினைக்க உள்ளம் கனத்து விடுகிறது. ஆனால்  பொது மக்களாகிய நாம் இந்த சுதந்திரத்தை பொறுப்பாக கையாள்கிறோமா என்று கேட்க தோன்றுகிறது. இராணுவ வீரர்களின் குடும்பங்களும் எத்தனை தியாகங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டி இருக்கிறது என்று மலைக்க வைக்கிறது.  இது போல் ஒரு அனுபவம் நவமபர் 2008 ல் வந்தது. அப்போது சகோதரியை பார்க்க மும்பை சென்றிருந்தோம். GATE WAY OF INDIA, Taj Hotel எல்லாவற்றையும் அருகில் பார்க்க வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. ஆனால் அதே மாதத்தின் கடைசியில் மும்பையை பாகிஸ்தானின் தீவிரவாதிகள் தாக்கிய போது, அதில் தாஜ் ஓட்டலில் பிணை கைதிகளை மீட்கும் வீர செயலில் தன் இன் உடல் நீத்த மேஜர். சந்தீப் உன்னிகிருஷ்ணன் அவர்களின் தீர சாகசத்தை உலகமே போற்றியது. நாம் பார்த்த இடத்திலேயே ஒரு தீவிரவாத தாக்குதல் நடந்ததே அதிர்ச்ச...

  நேற்று சென்னை புத்தக கண்காட்சி 2025 நண்பருக்காக எங்களின் அபிமான எழுத்தாளர் திரு சுஜாதா வின் "டாக்டர் நரேந்திரனின் விநோத வழக்கு" நாடகம் பல பதிப்பகங்களிலும் தேடி கிழக்கு பதிப்பகத்தில் கண்டு பிடித்து வாங்கி கொண்டு போய் பரிசளித்தேன்.  எல்லா காலகட்டத்தையும் தன் எழுத்துக்களால் அடைத்துள்ள ஒரு மாபெரும் விஞ்ஞானியும் மெய் ஞானியுமான ஒருவர் மீண்டும் வருவாரா? என்ற ஏக்கம். இந்த ஏக்கத்தை அவர் உடலை நீங்கிய 28 பிபரவரி 2008 ல் அன்றே எழுதிய அவர் வீட்டிற்கே சென்று அவர் மகனிடம் கொடுத்த கவிதை ஞாபகம் வந்தது.  வாழ்க்கையில் தாம் சந்தித்த மனிதர்களை  தன் எழுத்துக்களால் படம் பிடித்ததோடு வரப் போகும் காலத்தில் வரப் போகும் மனிதர்களையும் இயந்திரங்களையும் முன்பே சொன்ன முற்றும் உணர்ந்த ஞானியாக நினைக்க தோன்றுகிறது.  சமீபத்தில்  இன்றைய உலக மிகப் பெரும் பணக்காரரும் தொழிலதிபர் திரு எலான் மஸ்க், இந்தியா தேர்தல் முடிவுகள் எத்தனை விரைவாக வெளியிடுகிறார்கள் என்று ஆச்சர்யபட்டிருந்தார். அமெரிக்கர்கள் இந்தியர்களிடமிருந்து கற்றுக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றார். அந்த இந்தியன் திரு. ரங்கராஜன் ஆகிய சுஜாதா தான்....

This is was a Tribute written on the bodily death of Ms. Saraswathi Narayanaswamy, founder of Bala Vidyalaya, Pioneer in early intervention & training of young children with hearing loss.  Her life is a inspiration for many who face struggles, especially for parents, who face difficulties in bringing up special children. She faced a challenge, overcame that & helped many parents till she breathed her last in June 2020.  Her soul still reverberates in every child, which faces challenges in this challenging world.
